The collaboration between Shimano and Kaiyodo is paying off with the development of the Shimano Strike Fantasy series of lures. The new model is based on the already popular Silent Assassin 129, which has been upgraded with many new elements and color combinations with effects. The wobbler is designed with wider side parts to produce a strong flashing effect. The top line of the back has a flat surface and further contributes to the flashing effect. The belly of the wobbler also enhances the attractiveness of this lure and makes it irresistible to a variety of fish.
The Flashboost mechanism is a very thin reflective plate on a spring suspended inside the body. It uses the movement of the rod and other accompanying vibrations to create additional flashes to attract the fish even when the wobbler is not moving.
